Minnesota Hospital HUB

Accurate and timely patient information and trauma service preparation are valuable assets in providing optimal patient care.  The Minnesota State Ambulance Reporting system (MNSTAR) Hospital Hub links electronic patient care records to receiving hospitals via a secure connection, eliminating the need to fax or print ePCRs for transported patients.  The MNSTAR Hospital Hub links all ambulance service providers and makes the electronic record available to Emergency Department providers, Trauma registrars, abstractors, and Health Information systems to assist with the integration of patient care records.

The system allows for the bi-directional flow of limited data elements, submitted by the hospitals, back to the EMS providers to provide hospital outcomes and integration to Trauma, STEMI, Stroke and Sepsis reporting systems.
